Widespread Panic has announced dates for their highly anticipated 2013 Fall Tour that includes a two-night stop at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater on October 25th and 26th. Widespread Panic’s fall tour begins in September and runs through November. The band will be returning to some of their favorite cities and venues.
Widespread Panic is on the heels of their first summer tour since 2011, and the fans came out in droves packing venue after venue. The summer tour marked a Panic first when the band headlined four consecutive nights (one more than the usual three) at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, adding to their already staggering attendance record. The four shows brought their total number of consecutive sold out shows at the venue to an unprecedented 42, and counting.
For over ten years Widespread Panic has been dedicated to making their concerts “food drive events.” Since summer 2008 the charity Feeding People Through Music has raised over $55,000 in monetary donations and over 7,000 pounds of food. Since each dollar donated is worth seven meals, these events have bought over 350,000 meals.
